We are a diverse group of volunteers teaching English to speakers of other languages. We teach at the Houston Center, 8th St. & Snyder Ave. We hold morning and evening classes 3 days a week year-round. We draw students from the Asian, Latino, and North African communities in the surrounding area. Some of us have taught before; most have not. We have an extensive library of materials and good peer support.
