Silver Spring Village is an essential partner in building and sustaining an age-friendly and diverse community where engaged and caring members look out for one another and enjoy a sense of purpose and connectedness.
The Village focuses on three core priorities:
- Offering volunteer-provided practical assistance that supports independent living and self-determination
- Providing opportunities for social interaction to build community and reduce social isolation and loneliness
- Organizing regular social, educational, recreational, and cultural activities that promote lifelong learning and physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
