Lucy Parsons Center

The Lucy Parsons Center is a bookstore and community space, currently located in Jamaica Plain, that focuses on left, progressive, and radical political movements, theory, and history. We are a non-sectarian and collectively run space where decisions are made using a horizontal, consensus based model. We strive to offer educational, instructional, and inspirational material on a wide variety of subjects relating to social justice movements, in order for our customers and community to become more critically engaged in the political, social, and economic systems that affect their lives. Additionally, the Lucy Parsons Center is open to community members and groups who wish to use our space and resources to organize events, host meetings, or simply engage with like-minded people.
