To advocate for cancer patients by making connections, providing education, and guiding patient navigation to improve the quality and length of their life; with a focus on breast, cervical, and abdominal cancers.

About Us

Partners for Cancer Care and Prevention is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been providing medical support to underrepresented patient groups in Cali, Colombia since 2006. Through partnerships with various organizations both in U.S. and Colombia, PFCCAP has set an ambitious goal to build health system capacity and promote early preventive measures to reduce the burden of breast and cervical cancer mortality.

We know that the best way to save the lives of cancer patients is through early diagnosis and referral to appropriate treatment. This fact has been borne out through our work mitigating the obstacles women face in their breast and cervical cancer journeys, and it is strikingly evident for patients diagnosed with rare abdominal cancers. Today, many abdominal cancer patients are referred to critical treatment too late and the possibility of providing benefit is greatly decreased. We are working to get patients connected to the information and care that they need when there is still time! And for anyone who has faced a cancer diagnosis - whether as a patient, caregiver, or loved one - you know that fighting cancer is so much more than just about medical health. Fighting cancer is also an emotionally and mentally difficult experience. We amplify the medicine in cancer treatment and strive to make sure that every patient is connected to the emotional, social, and experiential support they need to confidently fight! 

Our newest initiative is the Abdominal Cancers Alliance, a platform to unite patients, caregivers, partnering organizations, and the medical community to invest in advocacy, life-saving connections, and the patient journey from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship.
