Missão
To help children from difficult social backgrounds to grow in a safe and culturally rich environment, where they can discover and develop their abilities freely, and to promote education and values that will allow them to become better human beings.
Sobre Nós
Casa do Caminho is an organization based in the rural area surrounding the town of Xerem, very close to Rio de Janeiro. We work to support children coming from poor backgrounds, and support the local public schools, which lack enough teachers. Our volunteers give language and arts lessons in these schools for free, and every weekend we host events at our headquarters where the children can come and experience cultural activities and games, and stay in a safe environment where they learn new things and acquire positive values.
