HOOFF HOUSE RESCUE AND SANCTUARY INC

Our organization rescues cats at risk of being euthanized in shelters or dying on the streets and getting them into homes or transported to another rescue. We focus on cats and dogs that are truly desperate and have no where else to go. We can only take dogs if we have fosters available. We aim to provide a place for people and their pets to stay when they need temporary shelter.

We are a unique organization because we are in the process of raising funds to build a home like rescue for volunteers to live or stay overnight at. We are working on converting a large detached garage into a cat building. Currently we have two live in volunteers in an old trailer home.

Our benefactor helped vet and get all but two cats fixed and rehomed from a colony where they were in danger in late 2022. Earlier in 2024 he proposed starting a rescue and Sanctuary for special needs cats. His late sister left him money to help save cats and she always wanted to start a sanctuary but never got around to it. In July 2024 our dream became a reality when we found property and received our 501c3. Unfortunately on Dec. 9 2024 our benefactor, Edward Champley suddenly passed away from cancer. We want to continue what he started. But we can't do it without help. We have so many beautiful animals that depend on us. Please help us to continue the fight.
