Maya Migrate

Maya Migrate, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is building the first free-to-use coordination platform for immigrants and the lawyers who serve them. As an immigrant-lead organization, Maya prioritizes the safety and dignity of its users via lean data practices and trauma-informed UX. We will never sell or share user data.

Our team designed Maya to mitigate the obstacles that disproportionately affect this population:

• Language access. Plain language translations of paperwork in multiple languages, starting with Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic and English.
• Missed deadline prevention. Court date and document deadline reminders for both the user and their lawyer.
• Digital Rapid Response with periodic wellness check-ins. If a user goes silent, Maya automatically alerts their lawyer and trusted contacts. Deploying their legal documentation.
• Centralized data management. Case data and history visible for immigrants even after they switch lawyers.
