The Medicomundo Foundation

The mission of The Medicomundo Foundation is to reduce the cultural and linguistic disparity that is prevalent between Spanish-speaking patients and their health care providers in the United States.

In order to accomplish this mission, we provide financial assistance to health care providers-in-training to participate in a medically-focused Spanish immersion experience in Latin America. In addition, we will be community leaders in this area and encourage inter-cultural awareness and competence throughout the United States.
