The New Shul (TNS) is a progressive, non-affiliated Jewish synagogue, seeking to hire a Rabbi. Only 20 years old, we are centered in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. The TNS community values diversity, spirituality, faith, and public service. Religious services are marked by our Congregations’s questioning and participation, and by music. TNS, at 100+ households, offers dynamic holiday and shabbat ceremonies, adult and youth education, life-cycle celebrations, service projects, and other food-centric, music, and salon-style events. It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining us. Our membership is strong; our offerings are vibrant and valued. We are poised to share our tremendous capacity for innovative spirituality and community work with an ever-widening audience.
