Sobre Nós

Phoenix of New Orleans, or PNOLA, was formed by residents, volunteers and donors after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. We are dedicated to supporting the recovery of the residents of Lower Mid-City, New Orleans and it's surrounding neighborhoods by rebuilding quality affordable housing and develooping the community assets necessary for a vital neighborhood. Since November 2005, PNOLA has become one of the most active disaster recovery and community associations for Lower Mid-City.

Donors and volunteers can get involved with all aspects of community development and victim relief. From food, hygiene, housing repair, landscaping, educational tutoring, legal services, to other professional services, donors and volunteers are a critical part to the rebuilding effort. This is an interactive organization, with critical contributions from donors in both money and ideas. Volunteers are the labor we need to effectively rebuild better than before. Please explore the website and consider volunteering or donating to the Phoenix of New Orleans.
