All Faiths Food Bank

All Faiths Food Bank, awarded a consecutive 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, is a member of Feeding America and the hub of hunger relief in Sarasota and DeSoto counties. Last year, All Faiths Food Bank distributed 8.5 million pounds of food equating to 7.1 million meals through 184 pantries, soup kitchens, churches, community centers, schools, and programs. The All Faiths Food Bank is a network of people working together 365 days a year to fight hunger throughout Sarasota and DeSoto counties.
The All Faiths Food Bank distributes approximately 2.5 million pounds of food a year through its not-for-profit agency partners who operate feeding/hunger relief programs in the two counties. That's equivalent to 166,000 meals per month.
Volunteers process and store food solicited from the community at the Food Bank's 20,000 square-foot warehouse on Cattlemen Road in Sarasota. Every can and box of food is sorted and checked by experienced volunteers. Using food bank trucks, All Faiths Food Bank then distributes supplies to not for profit agencies offering hunger relief in Sarasota and DeSoto counties.
