Donantes RD

Donantes RD is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping reduce the blood shortage in the Dominican Republic by connecting patients in need of blood, platelet, and breast milk donations with potential voluntary donors.

Through technology, education, and community engagement, we promote a culture of voluntary and regular donation, making it easier for people to help save lives when and where they are needed most.

Donantes RD is a technology-driven nonprofit organization based in the Dominican Republic. We use digital tools and community mobilization to connect people who need blood, platelets, or breast milk with potential donors across the country.

We are not a blood bank and we do not sell blood or charge patients or donors for our services. Our role is to facilitate connections, raise awareness, educate communities, and encourage voluntary donation.

In addition to our digital platform, we develop educational initiatives, volunteer programs, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with healthcare institutions, companies, universities, and other nonprofit organizations.

Our goal is to build a stronger and more sustainable culture of voluntary donation in the Dominican Republic, where finding a donor in a critical moment becomes faster, safer, and more accessible.
