Women's Federation for World Peace USA

WFWP is a dynamic 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is committed to providing women with the opportunity to create lasting peace in the world, through talks, forums at the United Nations, luncheon programs, racial and religious reconciliation projects, national and international conferences, benefits, and service projects.

With more than 35 state and city chapters, WFWP USA was established in 1992 by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. She said, "History is calling for reconciliation, love, service, and sacrifice. Today's problems cannot be solved by the logic of power...Our present problems can only be solved by the logic of love." From the motto of "Living by the Logic of Love" our organization encourages every woman to become a "woman of peace" through cultivating her heart, the mother's heart, to care not just for her own children but for the children of others, the children of other nations, the children of the world, by developing and expressing the qualities of empathy, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

The Women's Federation for World Peace is a non-governmental organization in general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and in association with UN Department of Public Information. As an organization of women, we adhere to the principle that by working together, taking initiative, and empowering one another across traditional lines of race, culture, and religion we can create healthy families and resolve the complex problems of our societies and world.
