BOXING OUT NEGATIVITY INC

Boxing Out Negativity (BON) works with youth ages 8+ who are at the greatest risk for violence, including those who are already street- or justice-involved, through three core programs: The sports program uses boxing as the hook to engage youth in physical training, civic engagement, and recreation. The street outreach program incorporates canvassing, circle discussions, and mentorship. Once participants are connected with either program, BON engages them as family. Thirdly, BON hosts an annual "summer of peace" event series that includes the Street Love Ride, a bike ride that "spreads the love" through the streets of Chicago's West side.
