The stated Mission of Oregon Outreach, Inc. (OOI) is to provide an accredited academic program and support system, which assists the student to succeed in the classroom, at home and in the community. OOI provides a state certified, fully accredited academic school program to a wide variety of students; including disadvantaged youth who have dropped out of school or are at risk of dropping out due to the inability to attain success in the traditional school setting. These students’ issues could be one or several of the following; behavioral issues or academic failure, severely credit deficient, the effects of drug/alcohol abuse by themselves or within the family, those who are affected by gang issues, homelessness, teen parenting and/or are in the foster care system. OOI has a diverse student population and 95 % of students are low income.
