Gift of Giving Philadelphia, Inc.

The mission of Gift of Giving, Inc. is to support families in achieving stability by meeting their everyday needs through financial assistance, nourishing meals, and the tools necessary for educational success.

Founded in 1995 by Tom Kutchner and a group of dedicated volunteers, Gift of Giving, Inc. started as a small initiative providing meals and gifts to 30 families during the holiday season in Philadelphia. Over the years, this effort has grown into a year-round support system for thousands of individuals and families in need. As a 100% volunteer-staffed, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we work in partnership with local groups such as Caring for Friends and the Knights of Columbus to distribute food and meals, as well as provide gifts during the holiday season. Our annual events bring joy to families, while our commitment to educational support helps ensure that children and teachers have the tools they need to succeed in school. We are proud of what we have accomplished, but we know there is so much more to do. With your support, we can expand our reach and continue to bring stability and hope to families in our community.
