THE WHEELS PROGRAM OF GREATER NEW MILFORD INC
Missão
Our mission is to provide the highest quality transportation for senior citizens and citizens with disabilities in the Greater New Milford area to their non-emergency medical appointments. We offer our clients the opportunity to maintain their independence, while providing a valuable service.
Sobre Nós
We have over 15 volunteers who drive WHEELS’ insured & fueled vehicles, including a wheelchair accessible bus. We serve the greater New Milford Area, but can transport to out of town medical facilities as far away as Yale in New Haven. Volunteers can commit to just 3 hours a week and we work around your schedule. We are a curb-ro-curb service and operate on a donation basis, so our clients can maintain their routine medical appointments without regard to their financial situation. We ask for a clean driving record and we will perform a background check.
