Teach For America – South Carolina started in 2011 with 30 corps members spread along the I-95 corridor. Since our launch, South Carolina has grown from 30 charter corps members to a statewide leadership network of more than 375 corps member and alumni leaders. These leaders partner with nearly 100 schools reaching tens of thousands of students throughout the state, sharing a collective vision for educational equity in our lifetimes. The South Carolina team is a team of diverse, passionate and committed folks who work together in service of educational equity in South Carolina. We believe our progress and impact in the state of South Carolina is directly related to the quality of our talent and are excited to expand our efforts with a dedicated staff member in this role.
