The Space Foundation pursues an exciting mission addressing space awareness and education: To vigorously advance civil, commercial and national security space endeavors for a brighter future. To passionately provide and support educational excellence through the excitement of space.
Sobre Nós
The United States Space Foundation (Foundation), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1983, has re-focused and energized its mission and goals under new leadership since 1997. While other organizations focus on classroom activities for children or curriculum development, the Foundation Education Team‚s core competency is professional development for kindergarten through twelfth grade (K-12) teachers. The Foundation formed strategic partnerships and alliances with these organizations and with others in the pre-college and higher educational community, government and industry in order to help achieve the education mission.
