To provide meaningful opportunities for persons 55 years of age or older retired or semi-retired to volunteer to put their life experience to work for their communities.

Athens-Limestone County RSVP recruits volunteers willing to serve from a few hours to twenty hours per week to meet community needs and make a lasting difference. RSVP volunteers do just about everything - from tutoring, helping prepare income tax returns, planting gardents, working with law enforcement, beautification projects, hospital assistants, clerical, computer programming and renovating home.
