The mission of the Northern California College Promise Coalition (NCCPC) is to convene member power, skills, and knowledge to create systemic change in college access, success, and affordability for first-generation, low-income, BIPOC, and multiply marginalized students. The ultimate vision is to eliminate income and wealth disparities that disproportionately impact these students, making college and successful careers more attainable and accessible for all.

The purpose of the NorCal College Promise Coalition community is to focus on changing outcomes and systems for low-income, underrepresented youth in four key areas:

1. Advancing Public Policy
2. Enabling the Transition Into the Workforce
3. Speeding up the Adherence to Best Practices

Individual organizations/ agencies, acting alone, are unable to create equitable systems and policies for postsecondary access and success or workforce access, earnings, and wealth. We cover a 13 county footprint with over 80 organizations as members.
