Safe Families PLUS

Safe Families PLUS matches youth in foster care ages 14 through 21 throughout Cook County with volunteer adult mentors who act as a long-term, consistent support system. All youth are at risk of aging out of care with few adults in their lives whom they can count on. All mentees have completed an application requesting a mentor, and have identified goals such as applying to college, finding a job, or building social connections.
