The Morningstar Foundation is a private family foundation primarily dedicated to strengthening the Jewish community in the Greater Washington, D.C. area, throughout the United States, and in Israel. Additional areas of focus include enhancing educational opportunities for disadvantaged young people, protecting the environment, promoting the development of civil society in Israel, and safeguarding individual rights.
The Foundation takes proposals on an invitation-only basis.
