San Miguel Eco Project

The San Miguel Eco Project is owned and run by the people of San Miguel; a small afro-ecuadorean village situated in dense rainforest in Northwest Ecuador. The project has three core aims:
- To develop eco-tourism as a non destructive source of income for the community.
- To provide a model of sustainable development for other communities in the region.
- To improve educational opportunities and increase the study and awareness of the rainforests of Western Ecuador.
