We "help the invisible dogs in town pounds" in Massachusetts by raising and distributing money to cover veterinary costs for dogs in municipal custody. Rather than have their lives, or at least their health, dependent on being "rescued" from a municipal pound, a dog can be spayed/neutered and receive necessary medical treatment in place and be adopted directly from there. Cities & towns have no money for such costs, and are dependent on us.
