Our mission at Heartland is to support the patient and family wherever they are in their health care journey and to respect their goals and values. We are the largest non-profit in the country and we take pride in our reputation of servicing the needs of our patients and their families.

Our volunteer program is designed to focus on the individual needs of our patients and their families and help with friendly visits in the home and/or in facilities. Our goal is to bring a smile to every patients face either with a friendly visitor, pet visitor, someone to read, sing, play music or just be a presence in the room when no words need to be spoken.
