Omaha Urban Neighborhoods

Since 2001, the mission of Omaha Urban Neighborhoods (formerly Omaha Main Streets) has been to advocate for the revitalization of neighborhood commercial districts in Omaha by using the National Main Street Program approach:

1. Creating an attractive, well-designed place

2. Using positive events and promotion

3. Pushing for economic restructuring

4. Organizing the stakeholders

5. Sustaining a safe environment

6. Promoting historic preservation
