NYSoM

NYSoM is a grassroots community organization whose main focus is to end the cycle of poverty in New York City. We service those living below the poverty line, including the homeless, elderly, at-risk youth, disabled, low income families and the working poor. Our objective is accomplished through:

1. Community Service Projects in partnership with various organizations in New York City that offer services to different sectors of the community living below the poverty line.
2. Outreach Programs that directly target communities and fill a need of those living below the poverty line.
3. Community Events to make a positive impact in low income communities. These events are recreational, educational and inspirational in nature as a means to create a positive atmosphere and give residents of the community alternatives to their normal environment.
