The mission of RIAEYC is to support professionals in their work by promoting quality education and the healthy development of children birth through eight.
We value: quality early care and education; community among children, families, and professionals; best practices in early care and education; advocacy on behalf of children, families, and early childhood professionals; diversity in the RIAEYC membership and on the RIAEYC Board and the work of the volunteers who serve on the RIAEYC Board and committees.
RIAEYC is an affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the managing agency for BrightStars. BrightStars helps child care providers in Rhode Island learn about best practices in early learning and apply them to the care children receive.
