Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy is a therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. Pegasus, which has been in existence since 1982, operates year round at its facility in Northeast Philadelphia serving over 100 riders on a weekly basis. The Pegasus program utilizes the horse and its movement to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Our mission is to provide therapeutic exercise in various forms while concentrating on ability rather than disability.
