Chica Project

Established in 2011, Chica Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to close the opportunity divide for Latina and other Women of Color Massachusetts by empowering them with the skills, confidence, and network to thrive personally and professionally. Our goal is to develop the next generation of diverse leaders and prepare them to be the author of their own story.

Chica Project’s flagship program, Empowerment Institute (EI), provides monthly in-school and community-based coaching and workshops on personal growth, leadership, and workforce development to a cohort of high school girls from communities in Massachusetts. 

We are a fast-growing organization recognized by the local community and civic, political, and business leaders. Our staff comprises a dedicated team of self-starters and entrepreneurial thinkers with strong communication skills and complementary strengths.
