AdkAction’s mission is to create projects that address unmet needs, promote vibrant communities, and preserve the natural beauty of the Adirondacks for all. Our diverse portfolio of member-supported projects include reducing food insecurity, securing accessible broadband, reducing road salt, protecting pollinator habitats, promoting the arts, and increasing the supply of low-cost housing in the Adirondack region of upstate New York.  Each project is led by a Board member, is rooted in the Adirondacks, has measurable outcomes, broad community support, and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
