HousingFirst Lab unites resources, talent, and knowledge across sectors to end homelessness.

Housing First models have demonstrated significant success in resolving and preventing homelessness, but America has not yet made significant progress in ending homelessness because limited resources are allocated to the solutions that work, and significant barriers to effective implementation exist.

HousingFirst Lab solves these barriers by introducing individuals with private sector experience to collaborate with homeless and housing nonprofits to solve the organizational challenges that limit their impact. We believe that by bringing people with different experiences together, we can improve outcomes and generate additional support for ending homelessness.

Our work generates systems-level change by:

• Making best practices a reality within each organization we work with,
• Collecting and communicating learnings to a broader set of homeless and housing agencies facing similar challenges, and
• Engaging new private sector resources to the issue of homelessness through direct engagement and fundraising.
