Lourdes Health System Our Lady of Lourdes, a member of Trinity Health, is a Catholic health system sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, New York, dedicated to its tradition of serving all with reverence, compassion and integrity in a simple, joyful and hospitable manner. Department of Volunteer and Hospitality Services

Volunteers for Lourdes Health System give of their time and talents to provide assistance and bring comfort to those in need. They play an important role in the day to day operations of Lourdes Health System. Our volunteer office staff matches a volunteer’s abilities and interests with the Medical Center’s needs.

Some volunteers serve in patient care areas, providing personal services for patients such as reading, writing letters, answering call lights or delivering flowers and mail. Other volunteers represent the Medical Center at the Information Desk, in the Gift Shop, at the Thrift Depot or as part of the Patient Representative program. Many volunteers, volunteer behind the scenes in offices, providing vital support services, or assisting the Auxiliary in raising funds for the Medical Center.
