The mission of the Vibrant Health Association is to educate African-Americans that the results of slavery impact the health of this population, causing disproportionately higher rates of debilitating and life-threatening disease. It is also to counter those effects with foundational self-knowledge that is emotionally grounding, and to offer active, stress-reducing programs.
