The Central Outreach and Advocacy Center (OAC) was established as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in 1997 as a means of continuing Central Presbyterian Church's history of service to people who are homeless or near homeless. Each year, over 10,000 men, women and children seek assistance from the OAC. In 2002, the OAC extended its mission to include public policy advocacy on behalf of those who are homeless or near homeless.
