Missão
Los Sures mission is to nurture and sustain a vibrant neighborhood that supports the diverse family life of Williamsburg, Brooklyn by advocating for and developing affordable housing, family health and well-being, and equal opportunity for all.
Sobre Nós
Los Sures is a community-based, non-profit organization that has served as an integral part in rebuilding the South Side of Williamsburg, Brooklyn since 1972.
Los Sures has undertaken large-scale rehabilitation of many buildings, allowing families and individuals to live comfortably and creating a safe and sustainable neighborhood.
Los Sures currently provides a myriad of resources like: affordable housing, tenant organizing, community outreach, a senior residential center, a senior recreation center, a hydroponic farm, a local food pantry, and it serves as a liaison between the southside community and some city agencies.
Los Sures also operates El Museo de Los Sures, founded to preserve the history of the neighborhood’s residents.
