Carl B. & Florence E. King Foundation

The Carl B. & Florence E. King Foundation promotes health, education, and opportunity in the communities we serve. With endowment assets of roughly $100 million, the Foundation awards more than $3.3 million annually to nonprofit organizations in the DFW area, plus West Texas and portions of Arkansas. We also undertake special initiatives, such as West Texas Rural Philanthropy Days (www.wtxrpd.org), a philanthropy conference that will next be held in 2024. The Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation established by Carl and Florence King in 1966, and funded with gifts from Mr. and Mrs. King and later, their daughter, Dorothy.
