Missão
MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.
Sobre Nós
MDA covers more than 40 neuromuscular diseases, serving folks of all ages and backgrounds. Our programs include community outreach, medical services, assistance with the acquisition and repair of mobility devices, support groups, school advocacy, summer camp and an array of websites, e-communications and publications. In addition, MDA funds a vast research program in neuromuscular disease and has funded the science that has led to treatments for a few of our diseases. MDA provides all of these services thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.
