SHEPHERD WELLNESS COMMUNITY OF EPISCOPAL DIOCESE OF PITTSBURGH

Since 1987, Shepherd Wellness Community (SWC) has provided help and assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS in a supportive community setting.

Our mission is helping people living with HIV/AIDS improve their wellness.

SWC is the only HIV/AIDS community Center in Western Pennsylvania and the only provider of congregate meals for people living with HIV. Our programs target six dimensions of wellness: physical, emotional, social, spiritual, occupational and intellectual and they are always accompanied by a freshly-cooked meal. We also provide take-home meals to help our HIV positive members improve their nutrition.
