Missão
The Texas Tribal Buffalo Project is committed to the healing of generational trauma of the Lipan Apache and other native nations with the resurgence of bison preservation of ancestral lifeways. TTBP provides cultural and educational tours to educate people about the health benefits of the meat it provides. We strive to establish food sovereignty by practicing good stewardship of its natural resource in the raising of bison- by offering quality bison meat and products to enhance people’s health and lives giving the opportunity for all people of Texas and surrounding areas a chance to interact and understand the buffalo and the native peoples of Texas history and culture.

We strive to create an upbeat-positive environment for all volunteers. Our mission is to educate and motivate people of all ages to learn how to reconnect with the land and our four-legged relatives. Texas Tribal Buffalo Project (TTBP) is a project that provides the indigenous communities and low socioeconomic status in South Central Texas and the greater San Antonio Community the opportunity to experience the spiritual and healing benefits of our bison through agricultural education and access to the healthy, lean meat of buffalo at local farmers markets and community vendors.
Our goal is to provide Indigenous communities in South Central Texas with increased access to food and education surrounding traditional foods.
