WMSR Foundation/ Western Maryland Scenic Railroad

The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad Development Corporation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving local transportation heritage and promoting tourism in Allegany County, strives to provide a safe, unique and educational experience for members of our community as well as tourists from outside the area. Along with these goals, the WMSRDC will provide a positive economic impact for the region through employment opportunities, the purchase of goods and services, and the generation of revenue to local businesses.
