To accomplish this end, NEIS:Educates, activates and organizes the public on energy issues.Builds and mobilizes grass roots power and nonviolent opposition to nuclear power. Advocates sustainable and ecologically-sound energy alternatives.Through the application of nonviolent and democratic principles, NEIS is determined to end nuclear power in Illinois, the Great Lakes Bio-Region, and on the Planet.
