We are a non-profit, non-partisan, 501(c) 4 tax exempt
organization founded in 1941 to foster educational, cultural, charitable and
social activities among individuals and companies in the Washington area with
business, political or social ties to the State of New Jersey. NJSS provides a
networking link between New Jerseyans and former New Jerseyans in government
and the private sector and helps to increase New Jersey’s
visibility in Washington’s business and political community. NJSS is affiliated with the Congressionally chartered
National Conference of State Societies.
