The YWCA of the USA works to eliminate racism and empower women with a common vision of peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people. Our One Imperative is to thrust our collective power to the elimination of racism wherever it exists and by any means necessary.
The YWCAs of the Northeast Region, Inc. supports 33 local associations in CT, NJ, and NY. Each association operates autonomously and offers programs and services that meet the needs of the women, girls, and families in their community. Advocacy plays an ever increasing role in mission achievement.
