MIND Research Institute is a neuroscience and education social benefit organization. Our mission is to ensure that all students are mathematically equipped to solve the world's most challenging problems. Through our uniquely visual, non-language-based approach to teaching math — delivered through our ST Math instructional software — over 800,000 students across the country are deeply understanding math, developing perseverance and problem-solving skills, and becoming life-long learners prepared for success. MIND Research Institute also brings math to life for students, families and communities through innovative events and activities.

Math and problem-solving skills are critical to a student’s academic and economic future. At the same time, current national trends show math performance at alarming, perhaps even crisis levels.

A Raytheon survey in 2005 found that 84%of U.S. middle school students would rather clean their rooms, eat their vegetables, take out the garbage and go to the dentist than do their math homework.
