TEDxYouth@Seattle is a self-sustaining, volunteer-run, nonprofit with a license from TED to independently organize a local TED event.
TEDxYouth@Seattle is designed to empower and inspire young people to share ideas worth spreading. The events feature diverse youth leaders ages 13-24 in the greater Seattle area who are actively applying their ideas and talents towards creating a better future.
The mission of TEDxYouth@Seattle is to create events and gatherings that are self-sustaining and enrich our audience, our speakers, our volunteers, and our partners. In the spirit of TED’s Ideas Worth Spreading, TEDxYouth@Seattle is a unique gathering for the Greater Seattle community led by an all-volunteer staff that seeks to create events that are educational, inspiring, and motivational.
