Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center is a safe, caring environment offering educational, social, and recreational services and opportunities to persons of all ages and cultures. The Center promotes personal growth and well-being through the full utilization of community resources for the benefit of the people of Newport County.

We are a multi-service agency with the area's busiest food pantry and the only daily meal program for our neighbors in need, plus educational enrichment programs for children and youth from preschool to high school. As a Community Center we host hundreds of community activities and events for other organizations and groups, and offer referrals to other agencies and services whenever necessary.
