Bay Area Creative promotes literacy and empowers people to make a positive impact on their own lives and communities through creative expression. Our programs use the power of the spoken word to train youth, support families, empower educators and provide employment opportunities for BIPOC artists throughout the country.
Bay Area Creative serves predominantly communities of color in under-served neighborhoods, in the geographic areas of San Francisco, Oakland, Richmond, Berkeley, Pittsburgh, Hayward, Daly City, Pacifica, and San Jose. We also run remote programs in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.
