The Lower East Side Business Improvement District (BID) is an independent non-profit economic development corporation dedicated to revitalizing the Lower East Side commercial district while preserving its unique and diverse character. The BID operates from a storefront at 261 Broome Street (between Orchard and Allen Streets), located in the heart of the Lower East Side shopping district. The office is open to the public seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
